"I’ve stayed at several Madison Middle Beach Rd summer rentals over the past decade but this is the first one directly on the water. That feature alone made it the best. Unfortunately, the cottage only accommodates 7 people so some of my family stayed at other overnight facilities and joined us in daytime. We were disappointed that our mid-June week did not include any window air conditioners and there were two very uncomfortable days. Several windows and/or screens were broken, so airflow could have been better (seems like an easy fix for the owner). The waterfront location could not have been better with easy access to sandy beach and rocks, 2 minute walk to West Wharf Beach and great kayaking. I hope to return."

"We traveled to this location for upcoming maternity pictures I had at Hammonasset. It was less than 5 minutes away which was wonderful with a 18 month old. The listing is advertised as “baby friendly”, but I fear that is misleading. Between the stairs with no gate, the location of things like knives to toddler level, and an open electrical box near the bed, it just was a lot to keep a baby safe. We communicated a lot with the owner to voice concerns upon arrival. The owner was great communicating, up until us advising we were leaving early due to our concerns. Overall, the property was clean and well located. If this rental was just for my husband and I, it would’ve been perfect. But with a baby, this wouldn’t work for us again."

"We enjoyed our stay so much, wish we were there longer. 7 of us came for our son’s graduation, including elderly grandparents, and the home was very comfortable for all, spacious, and well appointed with everything we needed. Beds were great, house is gorgeous! The neighborhood is so pretty too. Thank you! "
