The site offers a very pleasant respite from being a "rushing to see everything" tourist. Olavur and his wife do everything possible to make you comfortable. His cooking is excellent and the breakfast was one of the best meals we had on this trip.

What a beautiful hotel in a stunning part of Iceland! Loved everything about this location and hotel. Staff were helpful and informative, breakfast was great and the view was stunning. Will definitely be back to Varmaland

We stayed a couple of nights at Fossatun's Sunset cottage, the place was tidy and clean, spacious enough foe a family of 4 including 2 teens.
