"Odd place but not bad. The buildings feel older than their 30 years. The hallway floors actually slope slightly. Is this intentional for drainage from the ocean? The gas fireplace in the room was a nice perk but I was surprised there wasn't much substance to the screen in front of the fire. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view - spectacular! Breakfast was much more than I expected and it was very good. My only (minor) complaint is that the room wasn't ready at check-in time. The office staff were very nice."

"We got the King Suite because we have three kids and a dog, It worked out perfect, everthing was so close, made vacation super easy. If I have to say somthing negative, then the parking was really tight, big truck and Expedition size suv will struggle with parking unless you get there early."

"Carpet was stained. Room slept 4 and had a kitchenette but no table to eat at. Far away from restaurants that serve breakfast. No office at hotel site so if you needed something, you had to go through a different hotel."

"A unique rental with a mother-in-law suite allowing extra privacy for one couple. Very clean and great beds for sleeping well. Bathroom towels good and generous amount. Bathtub/shower floor could use a rubber mat for safety. Shower water very generous! Kitchen was adequate although we ate out most meals. Some nicks and scratches and wobbly chairs to be expected in an older property. Hallways skirt the perimeter of the house on two sides with all windows floor to ceiling - interesting but one cannot wander in undies here. Bedrooms in main house also have floor to ceiling windows with venetian blinds. Outer hallway windows have no blinds so there is some feeling of lack of privacy even with bedroom venetian blinds down. Stairs in both buildings - not easy for disabled, I would think. Grounds were lovely with bushes and trees, walking paths and pass throughs. A quiet neighborhood when we were there. Fun to walk the area, close to bay and a fairly short walk to beach."
