    Settle into Kulshan Cabin, a dog friendly retreat in gated Mt. Baker Rim with a real wood burning fireplace, king bedroom, queen bedroom, kid friendly bunk room with play nook, BBQ deck, and space for 6. Spend winter days skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Baker, then come home to the fire and a quiet forest setting. A backup generator adds peace of mind for mountain stays.

    Kulshan Cabin is located inside Mt. Baker Rim, a peaceful gated mountain community surrounded by the forests of the Mt. Baker area.



    The neighborhood has the classic Pacific Northwest feel guests come here for: towering evergreens, quiet forest roads, mountain air, and easy access to outdoor adventure. Glacier's restaurants, coffee, and local stops are nearby, while Mt. Baker Ski Area, hiking trails, waterfalls, river access, and year-round recreation are reached by continuing up the scenic Mt. Baker Highway.



    It is a great setting for guests who want to feel tucked into the mountains while still having convenient access to the area's essentials and adventures.

    Kulshan Cabin is located in a gated mountain community, where winter weather, wildlife, changing road conditions, and forest surroundings are part of the experience.



    Guests do not have access to Mt. Baker Rim's private clubhouse, pool, sports courts, or other member only community amenities.



    Up to two dogs are welcome with the applicable nightly pet fee. The yard is not fully fenced, so pets should be supervised or leashed outdoors.



    The home has 1.5 bathrooms and includes a backup generator for added reassurance during mountain weather.

Cottage in the Woods

Check in was kinda crazy and confusing. Didn’t help that a young woman (presumably a local resident) was clearly agitated with us because we couldn't figure out how to get into the main gate in the dark. We weren't the only ones confused and not sure what to do, as the car in front of us gave up and reversed. Said woman (local resident) said it was my fault I didn't know what was going on. Later I tried to call and email rental agency, but because of poor cell coverage in that area, never got through. Bed was awesome though and other than the above inconveniences- enjoyed our stay.
