Looking for a stylish and centrally-located place to stay? Look no further than the Downtown Studio, one of four unique accommodations offered by "Haven at Hazel, a Downtown Retreat." Our retreat is situated on the historic city square in downtown Demorest and is just a short walk from two restaurants, a boutique coffee shop, and Piedmont University. Our once storefronts have been converted into accommodations that perfectly complement the historic charm of the downtown square.

Downtown Studio is a spacious, fully furnished in-town retreat. The classy industrial vibe and design of the place will make you feel relaxed. The studio is one of four distinctly designed private units in Haven at Hazel. If you are a frequent visitor to the area, each place has a different style and experience.

Downtown Studio is a private apartment with a front and back door. The back door provides easy access to our common area, and we also have a front common area with a central fountain and benches overlooking the square.

We want your stay to be worry-free and hope to help with that by providing all the basic essentials such as coffee, dishes, cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. With notice, we will leave any special request items

We pride ourselves on quick responses before, during, and after your stay. We are solution-oriented and will work quickly to resolve any issue or concern you may have. Depending on the circumstances, we will communicate through the booking platform or phone. We have service providers who can respond quickly if needed.

Loved it!!

We had an amazing time staying here. The location was super nice on the square. The inside of the apartment was super cozy and very nice for its size. Staying here made our anniversary the best experience. We would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent place to stay!

I stayed for only a night last week, but I had such a great time! I love the layout of this space. It looks better in person even compared to the photos. The bed and couch were both quite comfortable, the toilet and shower/bath being in separate rooms is really nice, the shower came stocked with a toiletries dispenser, and the high ceilings made the space feel large. If you are traveling to greater Habersham Co for any reason and need to stay a night or two somewhere, I highly recommend staying here! Perfect for a solo journey or with a companion! Would stay here again, 10/10

Great overnight stay

We were looking for a night away near a disc golf course for my husband to play in GA within 3 hours of Charlotte. We drove to Toccoa, had a fabulous lunch at R&R Terminal then a round of disc golf at Rose Lane Course. I’ll add this is a great complex with several playgrounds for kids. We then drive 20 mins to our quaint little stay in Demorest. Cute and clean studio. We ate dinner at Chicagos Pizza about 2 miles away. A great weekend away and the studio was perfect! Very clean and comfortable!

Friends wedding

The place was just as described! Very clean and had such a fun vibe. The town of Demorest and all of the surrounding areas are beautiful! Great food in walking distance was a plus! The only negative is that you can hear everything through the walls. Unfortunately the guests that stayed next to us were up talking and playing loud music until 3 am. Other than lack of soundproofing, the place is fantastic!

We had a great time even though we only stay one night it was wonderful experience. We live in Cartersville and drove Sunday morning to Hellen Ga went Tubing then check in and relaxed the rest of the day. Very clean and had everything you need.

Wonderful one night stay

Me and my fiance stayed overnight here and loved it! We were in town to scope out our wedding venue so we only stayed one night. We wish we could have stayed longer! Its nestled in a cute little downtown area. We had breakfast at this cafe called Sweet Bread that is conveniently right across the street. We highly recommend staying here!

Curbside Creativity

I very much enjoyed my stay! I've always liked the loft aesthetic. Haven at Hazel brought cozy to loft in a creative way. I even had room to do my calisthenics! The host was responsive and polite I felt appreciated as a guest. Plus being in the heart of Demorest was charming and convenient.
