Over all the swastika is great. I've stayed there 4 times. Basic rooms are a bit old but very clean.with good air cond. The deluxe rooms are excellent . Staff are great, the restaurant food is very good and cheap. The gardens and pools are really nice too. Location is really good and its very quiet. Its very good value .

After searching different hotels, booking, cancelling a few, we ended with Swastika. To our surprise it’s a beautiful peaceful property without the noise of Sanur traffic. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and comfortable. We gave a 4 rating for cleanliness because we saw a cockroach crawling across the room 😝. Cook to order breakfast is delicious. Menu changes daily. The pools were great with good temperature.

Very good value. The pool was way too hot to be refreshing but the guests seemed to love it. Very generous breakfast included is worth it. I had an upstairs room which had steep stairs to it which could be an issue if you had mobility issues. Lovely generous deck is the upside!

Overall the hotel was pretty good but my bathroom with open ceiling was quite ridiculous. You can totally hear what your neighbors are doing in their bathroom. Plus you should smile when you do your business and a drone is flying over the complex ;)

Outstanding price-performance ratio

This was my second time in Bali. This hotel's price-performance ratio is excellent: the room was clean and spacy, pool was just perfect the water temperature, breakfast was good. Room's balcony was nice (even though semi-shared with neighbour). If you want the a good bang for your buck, this is the place. The only minus, is the locks on the door (padlock). They are more symbolic, I mean someone could break into a room in 5 seconds, if they wanted to : )

Lovely gardens, choice of three great pools. Very attentive staff when dealing with them super friendly and kind. Great breakfast with fantastic choice. Really nice and mellow, great place to relax. Definitely would come back. Please update razors supplied as they really are dreadful or dont bother. Luckily brought my own but tried them and truely the worst ive ever come across unless you like shaving with a blunt razor. Larger Tea/Coffee cups would be a good idea. Nitpicking. Otherwise cant fault this hotel. Made our stay truely relaxing. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff.

Great location of hotel with many pools to use. Room and furniture were very old, and bathroom was the most dirtiest seen (standard room type). Tiles in old pink color and bathtub and whole bathroom never been cleaned properly, not to mention the toilet, horrible. The picture in hotels showing the bathroom was incorrect compared to reality which was very shocking upon check-in. Simple breakfast buffe where only good was a station to order eggs and the fruit buffe. Kindly and service minded staff though!

No curtains on the windows for privacy. We travelled together and were supposed to have adjoining rooms, all arranged and viewed 3 months ago, but were placed far apart which was frustrating and inconvenient. The reason given for the change didn’t make sense. There was a large very noisy group of friends staying there and congregated on the terrace next to one of our rooms, starting their racket early in the morning and continuing through to late at night and no one censured them or asked them to move to the lobby where they wouldn’t have caused such disturbance. My daughter had to shift from her first room because the bathroom was sub standard, and then again from that room so she could get some sleep, ending up in an upgraded room far away from mine. I’m sure I paid for a better standard of room than we were allowed. The staff are lovely and so helpful, the gardens are beautiful and the location is excellent, the beds were comfortable but the pillows were not.
