Very spacious home in a good location. We loved having the two master bedrooms. The beautiful beach is only a couple blocks away and the pool is very nice. Our biggest issue with the house was the cockroach problem. We saw several cockroaches within the first couple of days. Property manager sent out someone to spray and even after that we continued to see them.

Everyone Gave This Place A Huge Thumbs Up
3 Generations including 3 and almost 5 year old had such a great time. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was updated and stocked. You will need to bring anything that is edible including salt. Family room was large, but we spent most of our time at the beach, in the pool, or on the large porch. Air conditioner kept up. So did hot water heaters, although the one that is for the bedroom with the tub could be upped a bit for warmer water. Pool was so nice to have and our kids learned to swim. Great washer and dryer was kept in use. We lucked out with the ocean. Absolutely gorgeous and only less than 2 blocks away with sidewalks. Outside shower at the property was great to keep sand outside. If you are staying with kids, the front door can be opened from the inside easily. (Automatically locks from outside). We moved the coffee table in front of the door each night to make sure the kids couldn’t get out. Although the pool is secured, the porch leading to the road is not. We just had a blast and agreed we would rent here again. Thank you to the owners for providing such a great house.

Beautiful home within walking distance of beaches
We stayed here with 7 adults and 4 children (age 5 and under) and the house was perfect for our group. The house was beautiful with only 2 things I would change/fix -- the upstairs shower was partially running when we arrived and could not be shut off and there was no dustpan to use. The house was clean, spacious, and our group hung out on the porch for a good portion of our stay because it overlooks the pool and is just a really nice, cozy porch with plenty of seating. The location is very convenient as we have stayed somewhere without access to side streets and even running to the gas station would take us 20 minutes because of all the traffic on 98. At this house, there is a gas station a couple blocks away accessible by side streets, which I appreciated greatly. I read previous reviews about the hot tub not working and it wasn't working for us either, but it was warm outside and in the pool so no one cared about that. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Lacking in some areas
Space was great for my guests. The weekend we stayed the AC unit was down, found out the day before check in; which wasn't too bad the 1st day because it was a little cool but it did her warm as the trip went on. They did provide fans. Furniture in living room was a little dirty and run down needs to be replaced. Bunk beds not very sturdy. I was suppose to be contacted about redund for inconvenience of no air...that NEVER happened. We only agreed to keep our reservation because destin was completely booked and didnt want to cancel our trip. Pools not heated.

We’re very unhappy that the spa pool wasn’t heated.
We rented the house because it had a spa attached to the pool and thought it naturally would be heated, it’s the whole reason we rented the house. We could have found another house for less money and smaller that didn’t have a spa pool

Nice stay
The home is nice. It was clean and when we arrived a nice man came over and made sure we had fresh propane for our grill. The beds were comfy. The only downfall is the pool/connected hot tub is not heated and it was very cold. Other than that, our family had a good stay!

Family holiday weekend
We had a great time at Crystal Beach. We were in the area to visit family and everything was smooth for the most part. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of cooking essentials, but only a few trash bags which was a challenge for a large group. Overall, I would highly recommend this location.

Destin Stay
The rental property was great for our four day Destin vacation. It was within short walking distance of the beach and the bikes were a good touch. A couple of suggestions include having more silverware and cleaning supplies (detergent/paper towels) available for the entire stay and providing checkout info earlier than the day before checkout.

Great property. Beautiful home. Very close to beach. Had a couple maintenance issues.
Would rent it again in a heartbeat. Minor maintenance issues. One bedroom lights and fan never worked but maintenance did come several times to try and fix it but could not. Needed new fan/light but we didn’t care Plenty of light from hallway. Hot tub does not work but we wouldn’t use it in summer anyway so don’t care about that either. Wonderful trip great customer service. Highly recommend.

My family and 12 members stayed at the 3rd Wish. I'm giving this home a 4 star because over all the location IS everything. PROS: Very convenient and close to a lot of places BUT most of all the beach! Very quiet neighborhood. The house was stocked with anything you need. Extra sheets pillows towels (still bring your own if you have 12 members) Washer and dryer saved us! Kitchen was well equipped. Pool was the highlight for my kids! Outside porch was very cute and comfortable for coffee in the morning or dinner. Gas grill was also a nice to have. The house has an outside shower which is great to rinse off all that sand you DEFINETLY bring back from the beach. Yard was big enough that my kids played right out front and fenced off so they don't run out into the street. For the most part it was very clean. When my family and I travel we like to go places that are local. Mom and pop shops restaurants that we don't have in Houston explore new places. Support small businesses. Not here :( CONS: All restaurants around the home are the same as from Houston. So if you are looking for new ones to try you might have to drive further out. Even though we loved the pool I feel it could have been cleaner. There was a lot of small dead bugs floating around. Which were there already when we arrived. The chairs near the pool are very old and not comfortable could use an upgrade. We bought our kids float toys and boogie boards which we didn't want to bring back so we left them. :) Beds are some what comfortable but not to our liking. Not the best. The couches in the living room are pull out beds those were very bad. :( 3 out of the 4 bedrooms have carpet. Personally we didn't like because of how much sand is brought into the house but that's a personal preference. OVERALL that is why I gave this home a 4 STAR. We would love to be back only if the things mentioned in CONS are changed. I believe for the amount of money we paid the beds should at least be comfortable.

I give this property 3 stars when it has the potential to be 5 stars.
This is a big beautiful home but it needs a make over. First off whoever the cleaning company is is not doing their job right. I would expect a very clean home. I had to call & complain about them not changing the sheets in the kids room. That is gross! The showers were not cleaned & 1 was clogging up. There was dirty cups in the cupboard. The cooking pots were older than me & no good cooking utensils. The ceiling fans had so much dust on them.The bbq grill was very dirty. That should be part of cleaning as well. Good luck if you wanna use the sofa beds. You will be sleeping on nothing but springs. The bunkbeds are falling apart so hopefully they get new ones. One of the rooms ac was broken & they came to fix it quickly which was great. Hopefully these issues get fixed because it is a great home! This was my 1st time booking through Vacasa & it wasn't a good first impression. Looking forward to a better cleaner experience next summer!

Less than what we hoped for
Overall the stay was enjoyable. Our main issue was with cleanliness. Within 10 minutes of walking around without our shoes inside, our feet were black. The floors weren’t clean at all. Management did respond quickly to our concern and cleaned them. There was a half empty water bottle in the kids’ room next to the bed. The ceiling fans were covered in dust. I’m highly asthmatic so it caused somewhat of a problem. One of the nights we had a roach that crawled onto us in our bed and about scared us to death. To pay $3,200 to stay for 6 days, we shouldn’t have to come in and clean. The customer service of the management was excellent, however.

We had 12 women on a girls weekend. we had a blast. If u cant find something to do in this area you must be cooped up with blinders on. We rented a pontoon went to the board walk rented a golf cart did 2 escape rooms. Hung at the pool and on the porch. Just not enough time to do everything there is to do. Wanted to go parasailing also ran out of time though great views on top deck

3rd Wish is an amazing home, beautifully decorated and exactly as in the pictures listed. The layout was perfect for our all adult trip. Short 2 block walk to the beach. We will definitely book again!

We had a family of 8 adults stay for a week in early May 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is as represented, clean and in close proximity to several public beach trails. We chose to walk to the Crystal Beach Park beach access so that we could use our tent on the beach. The various beach trails prohibited the use of tents on the respective beaches. We enjoyed the use of the 4 bikes and the extra walking distance was very reasonable. Parking was adequate for 3 to 4 vehicles. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the appliances are top rate. We had to call management one time when the grill ran out of propane. Management was very responsive and brought us more propane within a couple of hours. Maintenance of the property was excellent including pool cleaning, trash collection, tree and bush maintenance and landscaping. The only complaint I would have is that the master bedroom upstairs was warmer than our preference. During the day, the room would heat up and would not cool down enough without freezing the guests downstairs. A portable fan was available to help circulate the air. It was bearable since the weather was mild all week of our stay. Overall, the accommodations were excellent and we would book again.

Loved the house and location everything is great except for customer service we have an issue with the refrigerator not working and it took two days to get the working one. We had food we brought because we were expecting to have a refrigerator for your child to get some ice and a cooler until we could get a refrigerator we cannot keep enough ice in there too keep $150 worth of groceries good it was hard to get hold of anybody from maintenance

Booked our home for a 3 day stay in destin flordia the one thing that made us book was that the home had a private pool near the beach . Day one we got there when we entered the home it was a very nice place and clean no problem with the home it was great. Onto the problem as soon as we got there we got ready to swim and sit in the hottub the pictures showed thats when we realized the spa wasn't getting hot or bubbling but I thought it was a spa?Anyway I called and talked to someone in which she appalgized and said she would send someone out this is after I emailed several times with no response. Day 2 and no one came keep in mind we only have 3 days . Day 2 ends no one comes again then on day 3 someone called and brought to our attention that the spa does not bubble and that the owners of the home have chose not to use the heat he then appalgized for the inconvenience to me it was like saying to bad.We rented this home because the adults wanted to relaxe in the spa while the kids like to swim i spent extra money then I had planned just for that,and it would have been nice to have been able to get a response alittle quicker to let me know that it wasn't gonna work. I book alot of vacation homes but I'm not sure if I will ever stay or go through this rental place again. We did enjoy the location of the home.Would I stay again not to sure

Wonderful place for your vacation
Overall this property is wonderful for your vacation. We ran into very small issues when we first got here, but after notifying the property, they came to fix it immediately. It was a wonderful stay, the property is in a great location and the house feels like home.
