Check-in was super fast and easy and the condo was really nice. Easy 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach and we loved that we had access to all the beach and pool area of the Pelican but it was great that when we were done at the beach we could go to the pool at the Terrace that was less crowded. Definitely would stay here again, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful when I had questions

Great location in Destin

This was our first trip to Destin and we found the location to be very convenient to everything. The condo had a relaxing patio overlooking the pool and the neighboring lagoon. It was furnished very nicely in the kitchen for meal preparations. I would recommend this condo for couples and families.

Destin

Property was as advertised. Owner responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The area was busier than we expected but it was spring break and Easter week. The beaches are beautiful!

Family Vacay

Everything was more than expected. Host very pleasant and prompted when i needed assistance . The Condo was welcoming and scenery of the grounds were breath taking. I most definitely will return.

Everything we hoped for

Everything was wonderful. They had everything we needed plus extras. We loved having such easy access to the beach. We even played pickle ball! When we needed a break and time to relax the condo was perfect and very home like feeling!!

Wonderful stay! Parking was very easy, complex and amenities were very clean. My kids loved the pools and I used the work out room. Not a bad walk to the beach and nice to have a tiki bar for drinks and food very close. Personal beach set ups have to be behind the rented chairs and umbrellas and those at least in July are 5 or 6 rows deep. That was just fine with my family- just to note they start taking down unused set ups after 3:30 so as the afternoon goes on you get more of a view of the water. Unit was great- very clean and the kitchen had everything I needed and I cooked quite a bit. Like most rentals you want to make sure you bring and any paper goods and toiletries you need. We would come back and rent this unit!

Great Time

The unit and grounds were very clean. The only thing that I was not to happy with was we could not set up our tent. No tents were allowed which made it hard having a 2 year old and a 4 mth baby with our group. We were not allowed to set up an umbrella near the water until after five. So if we didn’t rent an umbrella you could not see the water while laying out on the beach. Everything else was very nice.

Great Stay

Overall it was a great stay. Nothing spectacular. The location was great, and the apartment was clean. The communication was awesome. We would for sure go back. There was a slight musty smell. We flew in from out of state for the weekend and didn’t have a car. I wish there were a little more amenities inside of the apartment. Like a roll of paper towels and a laundry pod. However, it was clearly communicated that would not be included. So that’s more of an oversight on my part.

Great place to stay

We had a baseball tournament in Fort Walton and stayed here. The property was very clean, the check in was simple and it is a few minute walk to the ocean, just across the parking lot and walkway and you’re there. This was perfect for us as we weren’t sure how often we were going to be at the condo with the baseball tournament so we didn’t want to pay oceanfront prices. We were able to go to the ocean everyday because it was a short walk and we didn’t have to drive anywhere. My only complaint is that private beach chairs must be setup behind the rentals. There were 3 rows of rentals and maybe half were rented so a lot of empty chairs blocking the way.

I had an amazing experience staying at this place. The place was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything . The host was friendly, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. The location was ideal—walking distance to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and appreciated the quiet atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent accommodations! This unit overlooks the large pool! We were a short walk to the beach!

We loved this condo! It was well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. The beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. made our ocean time that much better. Very thankful for a great week!

Condo exactly as described. My only complaint is the beach. Only can use a sectioned off section and the first 3 rows are rental chairs and umbrellas only.

It was a nice place to stay, and clean. Not directly on the beach, our own entrance to the beach from the comdo, veey little walk. There was a water park across from it. I stayed on the beach or the hot tub. I was there for USSA softball National tournament, for my granddaughter. I would stay again.

It is a happy place!

Very accurate listing. Lovely view and easy walk to beach. Best equipped kitchen and condo we have ever rented. Thankfully not over decorated - just right! These owners have thought of everything. Thank you.

Summer 2021 Trip

The value and location of the property was great! The pictures matched the listing well and the responsiveness of the manager was quick and timely. One thing that could have improved our stay would have been that all light fixtures worked. The dining room lights did not work. All in all our stay was great!

Great place near the beach!

This condo is very near the beach. It’s clean and has tons of kitchen supplies. Make sure you bring hand soap, trash bags and toilet paper. It’s as advertised and not supplied which we found a little odd. One trash bag? The beach is about 1/4 mile walk through the resort complex. Very nice beach though! 3 pools were clean and nice. Parking great. Right in the middle of everything in Destin! Nice to have beach supplies like an umbrella and 3 chairs though one chair is broken and all the backpack straps for the chairs are fretted. The bag for the umbrella is the same. Makes carrying things hard but there is a wagon we didn’t use. Beautiful decor. Main bedroom mattress could use replacing but overall top notch! We’d stay again!

We have stayed at the pelican before so we knew what to expect when it came to the property. I am solely writing this because of the owners. We had an issue the first night when we got back from dinner and Lisa immediately took care of it. She is by far the best host we have ever had. We will definitely reusing this unit based off of them! You couldn’t ask for better hosts! And yes, the pictures of the condo are extremely accurate and the condo itself is in tip top shape😊

Wonderful!!!

Overall this was amazing. The property is clean, the private beach, the cafe, the pools, the beautiful condo. Lisa is wonderful, promptly responded when we let her know the tub wasnt draining. All the check in info was great, there is a binder in the condo with fun things to do around too! The weather wasnt the best but the condo made up for it. Plus there is SO much to do around it. Within walking distance to a lot of stuff. We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here and are so greatful we were able to! If youre wondering if you should book this, do! Its really great. Hands down one of our top vacations! Our first to Florida and it was so perfect we will definitely come back again. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home! Your happy place is ours now too!
