Spring break trip

The property was in a nice neighborhood with plenty of activities for the family to do. Access to the beach was walkable and we enjoyed our stay.

AMAZING place

Close to everything, amazing property with heated pools and lots of other ammentites! Just a short walk across the property to the beach! Super clean and accommodating for my big family (2 adults & 6 kids) would stay again!

Hidden Gem

We enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Dunes. Rental had everything we needed for a great week. Location is perfect. Located in the middle of both pools and hot tubs and a short walk to the beach.

Awesome experience

We had a wonderful stay our children and their families rented a condo across from ours and everything was just perfect. Our unit was clean and had all amenities needed while away from home . Will definitely return next year.

Great location, cozy condo.

We had a great stay at this condo. Condo was nice and close to the beach. I wouldn’t stay there with more than 4 adults and a few kids. I also recommend bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags, as almost no extras are provided. Overall a great stay of you don’t need anything fancy.

Lovely Community for a Weekend Getaway

Everything about this stay was great! Our host allowed us to check in early since we arrived early with a small dog. Quick and responsive communication. While the location is within walking distance technically, it's a little bit of a walk to the beach. Would absolutely stay here again. Beds were comfortable, condo was updated, and overall it was perfect for our family! Would highly recommend!

Great place, perfect spot for vacation!

Our family loved the place and the convenient private beach access and amenities on the property. The property manager was very helpful and quick on communication. The place itself was clean and very well decorated and comfortable. Enjoyed morning coffee from deck. Place is located up a few sets of stairs, but wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely stay again. Sandpiper Cove and this unit is a gem, yet affordable given all it offers and location.

Comfortable Recreation Paradise

We had a tremendous vacation. The property itself was spacious with two large bedrooms both boasting King beds with connecting full bathrooms perfect for 2 couples. There is a snowbird activities schedule which makes it easy to become part of the community quickly. The nine-hole pitch and putt golf course was a blast. There is a swimming pool close to every unit because there are 5 pools. The 3 tennis courts are in super shape, the courts were recently resurfaced, and the players' group ended the season with a fun potluck gathering. We will be back next year.

First trip to Destin

Beautiful & cozy place. One of many pools on the property is just stones throw from property. The property is up 4 flights of steps & would have been an issue if grandma came on this trip. Really appreciated the laundry room and wagon and beach chairs and toys available to us. We will return.

Amazing Stay!

We had six teenagers with us and everyone slept comfortably! There was plenty of space! The boys spent everyday on the golf course and the girls made the quick trip to the beach and pools everyday. Lunch at the beach bar was decently priced and delicious! I definitely overpacked bc the condo had everything you possibly would need for the week! The property manager answered any questions we had from the time of booking to the end! We will definitely be back!!

Truly can't wait to book again!

We had the best stay at this condo. The location was PERFECT. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, but if you choose to drive over, there is typically ample parking right at the boardwalk. It's also conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and local Destin attractions. The host was incredibly communicative and answered any and all questions leading up to and during our stay. She also was so kind to help us find a lost lovie of my daughters after we left. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I can't wait to rebook next summer. 10/10 recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed!

Eveything needed right there

We just returned from a week for spring break. The unit was exactly as described in the listing. Clean and tastefully decorated. The property was dog friendly as we travel with our 2 fur babies a lot. Lots to do on the property from tennis, pickleball, swimming in one of the several pools or fishing. Having the private beach area was nice..you weren’t tripping over people to find a spot. Location was super close to everything imaginable. Lacie was great to communicate with, and responsive to questions from where something was located to recommendations for things.

Only left us two small bottles of shampoo. We ran our of toilet paper and had to request more.

No corkscrew in the unit. Two vacuums there and neither worked well. The dryer was full of bedding when we arrived. Deck chair was broken. Never got bedroom TV’s to work. Location was great. Beach supplies was great. Entire neighborhood great.

Started out great, ended on a sour note

The entire facility was nice, clean, well maintained. The grounds workers did an excellent job, and the golf course was fun. The beach was just right across the street and absolutely beautiful. The actual condo was nice, but had broken blinds, and deck furniture functional but cushions had seen better days. The dryer stopped working, the dial was stripped and become completely inoperable while we were there. I sent a message to the host who left me a voicemail message stating the dial needed to be pushed in to grasp the groove, and she knew the dryer was "ancient". Regardless of her knowledge that the dryer had issues she choose to charge me for "the damages" we caused. So what started out great ended on a sour note unfortunately. I'm sure there are other available condos to rent for in the Sandpiper Cove community. You may want to check them out if you're considering a stay.

Amazing

Communication before the trip was superb. Getting to the place was fairly easy once your there. VERY NICE PLACE. COZY. Pools all around, Beach just across the street with it's own private parking lot so you don't have to pay $20 every time you go, It's free with your parking pass. We had everything we needed for our trip to be awesome. Chairs and some things for the beach supplied, great location centralized in Destin so everything is reasonable drive away. Overall, such a great place to stay, we will be back! Saw some bad reviews about the place and the blinds on one of the windows is a little messed up, but you have to really be uptight if you complained about it. Everything was Great, didn't always believe what you read on the Internet right. Some people! Sheeesh

Great location and perfect sized unit!

As always, we enjoyed our stay in Destin! The unit is centrally located and the size was perfect- if you brought a family of 4, the unit has a large balcony, giving you plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the amenities: the heated pools, the putting green, and the easy access to the beach! Sandpiper is central in Destin to all the things we love- Dewey Destin, Boshamps, and a quick drive to 30A, etc. Lacie was very quick to respond at all times. We checked in a little late (midnight) on our first night and the guard at the gate had a little trouble finding our reservation- have your email ready and be patient, Larry will get you all set! Planning to eat at Louisiana Lagniappe (the restaurant on site)? I hope you do! The food is stellar! BUT, make sure to call ahead and confirm they are open. Our first night, we went at 8:35 to grab a cocktail and although they still had guests in the dining area, the hostess said they were closed and we couldn’t dine. They do not appear to have the set hours as indicated on their Google page. All in all, our stay was exactly what we needed! We will definitely be back!

Great Location with lots of little frustrations

Our family came for a five night stay and enjoyed the location of the property. There is an amazing coffee shop within walking. Inside the home is as described. Beach items are provided, but not all in good condition. We arrived at the property there was a lot of sand items out. I messaged the host a photo and she apologized for lack of cleanliness. There are chairs available for use, but most have a lot of rust and are not useable. We found 2-3 that worked for our family. The umbrella is there, but we could not find the matching bottom, so we ended up renting at the beach. There were various times that maintenance came while we were there and we ended up locked out by them. It took awhile to get ahold of the host only to find out there was a lock box with an extra key: this would have been nice to known at check in. Another time we returned and all water was shut off to the building. Come to find out this is an easy fix and happens often, but also never communicated how to turn it back on. With five young children returning from the beach this would have been nice to know. Upon checkout we cleaned up and cleaned under the bed finding a pet item, so we left it on the counter. The next day after cleaning I was informed we were being charged a fee for having a pet. Thankfully, I was able to communicate with the host and identify that the found item had a different name and date was back from July. Also, the appliances are older so they are loud, so plan accordingly.
