Destin-Sandpiper Covee

Fabulous location on the beach and in the Destin area. Very clean, nice furniture, lots of kitchen amenities. Comfortable beds. Restuarant has great food. Maintenance was attentive when needed. Toilets are as small/low to the ground as I have ever seen so adults with bad knees will be challenged. Had to iron using a towel on the floor as the iron board is from the 1940's and zip tied together.

No beach service but can be purchased for $48.00 for the day. Get out there early in order to get a front row setup and then go on about your day until you're ready for the beach.

Condo on the beach in Destin

It was our first time visiting Destin and everything exceeded our expectations. The condo was quiet and clean and so was the overall property - which is a fairly large condo complex. Interestingly, I had seen prior reviews about difficulty with the door keypad, and that hit us too. It's just a little different than what most people are used to. You have to enter the code and pause for just a second before turning the lock. The property has a handful of buildings on the "beach side" of the road and a larger number other side. If you want a lot of pool time then stay on the other side, if you want a lot of beach time stay on the beach side of the road - just makes it easier. The on property restaurant is pricey but has very good seafood, highly recommended. It's a great location, just a very short drive anywhere in Destin. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Another wonderful stay at Sandpiper Cove! The SPC staff is always fun & friendly and checking in/out is super easy. This was our first time staying in 2139 and we LOVED it! The decor was cute & beach themed, the bedrooms had plenty of drawers to unpack your bags & the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc... just be sure to bring salt, pepper, Clorox wipes, etc. The view from the (large) balcony was amazing! We liked being close to Rick’s Sand Trap Beach Bar & Grill... quick walk for food & drinks. We always enjoy our stay at SPC and will absolutely stay in 2139 again! Fall break in Destin is a must! Much less crowded than summertime, weather was amazing and the water was perfect and refreshing.

Wish there was more TP for 5 people. Paper towels and napkins would have been nice to have on hand. Outdoor furniture is made of piping, my 77 year old mom almost feel getting out of chair when one leg of chair broke under her.

Nice unit. The front door key pad was tricky. Security had to help. Thermostat had to be replaced. Thankfully it was cool and we only needed to turn the AC on one time. Front desk ladies very willing to help us with our issues. We would come back to this property.

This place is wonderful!

This condo is perfection. It was just my husband and me but this would be perfect for a small family. Check In was a breeze. The unit was so clean and had everything we needed. It was a VERY short walk to the beach and the view was beautiful. If you're bringing small kids just be aware that there is no pool on the beach side of Sandpiper. All the pools are on the other side of the property but it's a short walk too as they have 4 or 5 pools. There are quite a few stairs too, especially if you're on the 2nd floor, so if you have someone that struggles with mobility just be aware. We have absolutely no complaints and can't wait to come back!

Perfect Family Rental right on the sand

We arrived from out of town early and were allowed in the unit two hours early by a very friendly staff at the office. This unit was not stocked with spices/cooking needs but had every pan and appliance you could need if you plan on cooking. We ate out the entire time and only used the coffee maker. The pull out couch mattress was pretty flimsy and had a spring poking up on one side but worked just fine for the younger kids. The couches were a little aged and one chair had a spring loose on the back but wasn't uncomfortable to sit on. The house was immaculate and the master shower had two heights of shower heads so if you have a very tall husband or son like I do, they will appreciate that! The master bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on. I literally started searching online to buy that bed for our house! Overall the location and cleanliness was our main priority and it was exactly what we needed. We would absolutely rent this unit again!
