SunDestin 818 is an 8th floor end unit with 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms. This Condo is in a Gulf front complex in the heart of beautiful Destin! The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed with an attached private bath. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full beds with an attached bathroom. The sofa converts to a queen-sized bed and there are three flat screen TVs. The unit is now equipped with a washer/dryer for your convenience. It has a spacious kitchen and private balcony with floor-to-ceiling views of the coastline, as well as the city life of downtown Destin. Make SunDestin 818 your next family beach getaway!

SunDestin is a vacation rental complex conveniently located in the heart of Destin, less than half a mile from Big Kahuna's waterpark. It is unmatched in terms of facilities and guest services: check out the two pools (outdoor and heated indoor), Splash pad for kids, exercise room, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, massage therapy, onsite restaurant, tiki bar, and gift shop. There are also coin operated laundry facilities on each floor.

Family Vacation

First time for our grandkids! Was a little bummed that the splash pad was out of order, but there were so much more to do on the property so it was still amazing!!!.,. it was close to good restaurants and all of the fun things that we did!.,. Would totally stay there again we had a blast.!! anything that went wrong they took care of right away

Great location and great service

Sundestin is always a great place to stay because of its location. Our family enjoyed our week on the beach. The room itself met our needs. It was a little outdated in some areas, but overall, we had a great stay and made many memories.

Pretty good stay

Clean, unfortunately the construction closed the outdoor pool, sprinkler park, and hot tub, which wasn't listed when we first booked, however the rental company was very gracious with us. The view is ok. I have stayed there before and prefer the view from other units versus the side one looking overbuildings. Would definitely stay there again, but in another unit. The washer and dryer as stated in other reviews are very small. again.

SunDestin is Amazing! THIS rental is a little lacking.

This was our first time at SunDestin - the facility is awesome! Great for kids! The condo we stayed in (818) had a very strong smell when we arrived - maybe it was really strong bug spray because there were a few dead roaches too. I found a cigarette butt in the carpet. There were also several damaged things - door loose on its hinges, paint peeling on the frame, and bed frame slats had fallen down. I wish the property had been managed by the local condo staff - they were very nice! We will stay at SunDestin again, but will try a different condo next time.

so disappointed

we were so disappointed in our stay. Check in was a nightmare and took almost 1hr 30mins because they could not find our reservation even though i had a confirmation email. the "heated pools" where not heated and the one indoor pool was so full we could never get in. the front desk people were very rude and slow. very expensive and not impressed!

Was not what we expected

Traveled 10hrs to stay at this place for 3 nights at the beach. Check in went well, arrived and went straight to the beach. After spending a couple hours at the beach(2 adults & 6 children) we went back to the room to clean up and relax or thought we were going to. The shower in the guest bathroom did not work, the toilet was not fastened to the floor, the shower knob in the master bathroom was broke off so it did not work. Dishes had been put away dirty, washed but not clean. There were food crumbs all over the floor and stuff under the bed. Called the front desk and there wasn’t anything they could do since the unit was individually owned. Called RealJoy and they didn’t have a maintenance person that could come and look at it til the next morning and was told they would have us clean sheets the next morning since we couldn’t shower, that did not happen. Basically they told us we were screwed for the night but a little politer. I would not recommend staying in this unit, although the view from the side isn’t bad and the beach was nice the unit itself was poor.

Great location

Location was great, centrally located for shopping, food, etc. beach was beautiful! Very friendly staff! Only downfall was the condo we stayed in was not cleaned well before we checked in, a curtain missing from main living room so there was no privacy from outside parking lot, etc, sliding balcony door didn’t lock. Condo needs some attention. But all together we enjoyed our stay.
