"If you don't like lizards or are afraid of them, a stay here is not recommended. Unfortunately, we found two lizards in the house and another one in our luggage before we left. No air conditioning, and if you open the windows, lots of lizards want to come into the house."

"First of all I want to say thanks to the receptionists and the amazing cleaners that were doing a superb job and being very friendly and helpful! We had a great stay at Bahia Playa and loved the location and the pools! The big pool is heated to 24 degrees so well above that in the afternoon on a sunny day! The food was not very exciting but there are plenty of other options in the area so no need to go and eat there every time. We had a great stay! Thanks!"

"From the time of booking we had excellent communication with the property manager, Juanjo. He was proactive in keeping us in the picture and immediately prior to our rental he sent details of good restaurants and shopping. All most useful. The house is 'shabby chic' and as a result has a special charm. Lovely gardens and very peaceful despite the fact that it is close to town. It had everything that we needed and more. A most enjoyable stay."

Hotel Taburiente, Santa Cruz - Excellent

"Our stay as a couple was excellent. There were only a couple of minor things that we found not good was that there were no where reachable to hang your bath towels, there was no soap dish in the bathroom and also there were no places to hang up dresses and longer items of clothing. Other than those few things everything was fantastic - 100%. The food was superb. We definitely would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again. "
