"We were really excited about this stay having read all of the reviews but ended up disappointed. We received a room upgrade which we were grateful for but the room was very tired, particularly the bathroom area which had a handful of areas of damage. The room was also dirty, which we pointed out with photos to staff and they kind of asked us why we had looked for dirt (which we found when we moved a unit to plug a charger in) and there were multiple hairs in the room. "The concept is nice but the place still needs a lot of work. Being objective these are /-: * Nice property grounds * Rooms are ok size and clean * Comfy mattress * Simple but ok breakfast - * The place needs a restaurant so badly as there is nothing close to the hotel. * The shower stopped working * There is no front desk so you cannot call anyone for help and you have to open the gate yourself, this can be tricky. "If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. "What an amazing spot! Only a few minutes drive from downtown Atenas, but you feel like you're miles and miles away, up in the hills in a secluded spot with an amazing view. The hosts at the hotel were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they had loads of great dining recommendations to offer. We'll definitely stay here if we find ourselves back in the area. "

"Stayed 3 nights. Safe hotel, good parking with lots of staff around. Beautiful landscaping. Very good breakfast buffet. The housekeeper, Laura, was exceptional and room very comfortable and clean. Suggest using shower shoes as the shower was slippery. Short one block walk to upscale restaurants and grocery store and The Moose, a wonderful coffee shop with great food selection. Hotel pool was not heated and there was no elevator to second floor room. Also no written material in the room on hotel services, so you must ask front desk about anything. "
