"Lovely hotel with Arab baths. We got to enjoy the baths and massages (which were very well priced). The hotel is small but has all you need and our room was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful (ordered taxis for us). Walkable for all of Toledo with nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommend. "

"After a heck of a hike up the steep hills of the beautiful historic city we arrived at a lovely hotel with spotless rooms, plentiful hot water and a bath! While the rooms are basic and small there is a large common sitting/coffee room where we ate our breakfast and enjoyed the space. The bathroom was well stocked with soap/ shampoo/ conditioner dispensers. The staff were helpful with our woefully inadequate Spanish, by guiding us to great restaurants and sites. Toledo turned out to be a treasure...

"Our room had a balcony overlooking the canyon and in all our years of travel we’ve never had a more amazing view from a room balcony. Pay the few extra dollars for the view. It’s worth every penny. The place is clean, and the rooms are nice. The jetted bathtub was wonderful but when you showered water tended to go onto the floor. Lots of shelves and closet space. When we return to Cuenca, we will definitely stay here again. Great value."

"The property is beautiful and the view amazing. The front desk staff are not very nice and do not seem that interested in making the stay pleasant. There is only decaf Nescafé in the room and no possibility of getting coffee before 8am which is a problem if you have an early departure. The hotel was clean but hey could use new side rugs by the bed — all a little worn "
