"A very pleasant stay at Gite du Jouteau with our family of eleven, our ages ranged from 9 to 76. Surprisingly the indoor pool was a bonus with temps in the mid 30s during our stay allowing us to cool off easily. Very quiet area and a relaxing stay in the Sarthe region of France."

"Good things: swimming pool and hot tub, spacious for 12 of us. The lake at Coco plage is lovely. Not so good: no responses to my messages before our stay therefore confusion over bed linen. The property is not clean. There is grime everywhere. Needs a deep clean. Very small cooking area. Grass needed cutting. Very limited activities in the area. Spent too much time in super u because there was not much else to do. Towns and villages are deserted, shops closed and markets consist of about five...

"I rented with my father and two friends to use as a base for the Le Mans classic (about 50min drive from the track). The property is lovely with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable living and bedroom spaces. The views are stunning and the location is incredibly peaceful with an abundance of birds and other wildlife - would make an ideal quiet getaway / retreat."

"The cottage was as described. Rustic and in a rural area which was exactly what our group wanted. We were greeted on arrival by the host, who spoke only French which was not a problem. She was very helpful and explained everything to us.The Gite was clean, spacious and was everything we could wish for. After a long day at the Le Mans Classic event it was a pleasure to return to the Gite."

"Good room with a tiny useful kitchenette, a complete and tasty breakfast with milk alternatives"

"Great place for overnight stop. Good rooms breakfast and location and friendly staff"

"A cheap hotel but absolutely fine for the price. Great location next to Le Mans old town. Breakfast could be better but ok for the price."
