"Buoy House exceeded our expectations. Forget the Westin and Marriott nearby. This is a much better hotel, with a perfect beach too."

"I liked this place very much; it’s a little dated and the rooms are small. Beds are very firm (I know a lot of people like that but I do prefer a memory foam type topper or something softer as this is extra-firm. The porch is AWESOME—it overlooks the prettiest view and the sun shines directly onto the porch that holds two chairs and foot stools. It’s very private, as well. The pool looks gorgeous—I was on a work assignment for only two days so I didn't have time to swim, but if I did I definitely would have. There is a resort about 1/2 mile away that has a great restaurant (Emeraldd Beach Resort). They do serve coffee and pre-packaged muffins in the morning (blueberry and banana nut). The bathrooms are marble; they’re quite small but the shower is GREAT with very strong water pressure and gets and stays as hot as you’d need. It is located steps from the airport terminal—past trlhe VI port authority building. It’s very convenient. There is no restaurant nor bar. Overall, for the price, it feels like a good deal. I would return, especially because of the amazing porches/balconies."

Villa Island Paradise

"This villa is in an excellent location, few minute walk to the old town and restaurants, grocery store, etc. Given the challenges finding parking downtown on St. John, that was a huge plus. A few minute walk down to the market as well. My wife loves that our unit is very clean and quality furniture including bed and linens. Well stocked kitchen with adequate dishes and cookware for family. AC and fans were great quality. The patios and balconies are very large making it enjoyable to be outside to enjoy the views. A really nice plus was that each unit had beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and snorkeling gear available for use at no charge. Very easy to send messages to the host and management for any issues. We decided to extend 2 times here and on the 2nd the host rearranged another unit with an early check in so that we could move our food and other goods easily."

Secret Harbour Beach Resort

"We just came back from a stay at Secret Harbor beach resort. We stayed in a one bedroom condo on the beach side of the resort. The room was spacious and beautiful. I loved that we had a dining table and kitchen. After swimming all day, the kids preferred to stay in at night which was great, with the spacious room. The beach was beautiful and we were able to see many interesting fish when on site snorkeling. The onsite restaurant has delicious food- steps away from our room. The east end location of the resort, was a great place to stay in St. Thomas with its close proximity to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. I would happily stay here again!"
