"As usual Thon Hotel is a good standard a d excellent breakfast. Only disappointment is some of restaurant staff. One gent seemed to be doing everything while two were completely disinterested and would walk past repeatedly ignoring you. One clearly didn't want to be there ans was swearing to the other. "Comfortable and clean room. Pool n sauna but didn't use them.Delicious breakfast with lots of choices in a comfortable dining area. Bus to airport out side and if coming from cruise terminal costs 70nok . . Walkable distance but cumbersome with luggage.150 nok to airport.Check time as it runs a few times per day only. Hotel has a shuttle if u arrange with them for a fee. Chef was very helpful. Assisted with our luggage when we arrived!V. convenient location. N pick up for snow hotel excursions....

"Amenities at the resort were wonderful. I really appreciated the staff helping with scheduling all of our activities for us before we arrived. Food in both restaurants excellent. Rooms are very large and comfortable with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the spa. Front desk was very helpful. "I appreciate that they left our room key out for us. We were there to sleep while waiting to go on a cruise the following day. I would say that most of the people who also went on the cruise stayed at another hotel but for the price and distances to the shopping center it wasn't bad. I wish the restaurant had later hours but there was a pub about a block away. "

"A stylish hotel in beautiful surroundings. We loved staying here as it is well presented and comfortable. We were made to feel v welcome. Alvin went out of his way to make sure we had a brilliant evening and the cooking by Nina was excellent. Local produce, tasty and felt like home cooked food of top restaurant standard. "Wonderful place to stay. I arrived by bus from Kirkenes and the bus stops at the door. Short down hill walk to the village centre, not much there. The Sami Parliament is located here, beautiful building."
