Hotels with Spa in Friesland

Great location, friendly staff.

It was a great experience. Lovely staff and the food was amazing. Lovely spa, however we were not able to book for massage or treatments on the day we arrive since we were told to do so 3 weeks in advance.

Our very nice room with a balcony was luxury. The food was delectable for dinner and breakfast.

All good.

The hotel is very nice, comfortable and well-appointed It's a 30 second walk from the ferry terminal, which is nice. The restaurant is marginal. The food is nicely presented but just ok. It feels overpriced, especially breakfast, considering the fare offered. Also, the way it works is bewildering... when we arrived at 20:30, on the late ferry, the guy at the check-in desk said if we wanted food, they'd be there until 21:30. So we dropped our bags in the room and went back down to order room...

Only three staff members treated us badly. On Sunday night at around 10.30 pm three members of bar staff were very rude and made us feel uncomfortable in bar . outside that our overall experience was great .

Hotel Bornholm is a great place to stay. If by car, there is free parking. If not, bicycles can be rented at the hotel or just a few steps to the bus stop. Location was great if one wants to be close to West Terschelling restaurants and shops. The bike paths along the water front is outstanding. The only downside would be that the hotel desk is only open from 09:00 and closes toward evening if assistance is required. Also, decaf tea or coffee is not available in the room and may be charged...

We spend only a very short night at the hotel, arriving late at night and having to leave the next morning. Once my girls (9 and 11) found out about the swimming pool, they had to discover that area the next morning; The front desk staff was very nice to allow us an extra half hour to check out so everyone was happy . Well done !!
