"First off, I am an American so I have that point of view. The hotel reminds me of old Hollywood. It is a classic with tons of history that is showing it's age. I liked it a lot, my wife not so much. It was clean and the staff was great. The bed was hard and we never did figure out the AC system. It is in the Muslim district which we hadn't anticipated, but was no problem and everyone treated great. It's noisy outside, but that is living in any city. These are difficult times in Israel...

"Exceptional -- greatly exceeded our expectations! Our superior room was much larger than expected. The double shower was huge, and there were 2 closets with extra storage space. They provided bottled water each day. The cappuccino maker was a nice touch. Bed was large and very comfortable, with premium bedding. Breakfast was unbelievable (and included!). Most days it was at Asimi (right on the beach, gorgeous view), and on Friday/Sat it was at hotel restaurant-- which is one of the top...

"The hotel exceeded expectations for comfort and food service. It also provided free shuttle service to the airport. The only drawback, if one has to spend anything more than an overnight, is that there is absolutely nothing in the immediate area of interest. You would have to get transportation if you wanted to go further afield. However, we were aware of that and it suited our purpose. "
