"This is an older hotel located in the city on a busy street. The traffic was just outside our window so it was noisy until 11 pm and started up at 6;30am. It has covered parking which is great in inclimate weather. The breakfast room is too tiny, only 4 tables. We had to wait until someone left so we could sit. It was an adequate room for a night with a reasonable price."

"The Eagle River Lighthouse is a lovely, comfortable home that is perfect for a relaxing stay on the Keneewaw Peninsula. The property manager, Jan, was very helpful and pleasant. It is beautifully renovated and stocked with everything that you could need to enjoy your stay. We were treated with a loaf of delicious bread, maple syrup, and local coffee. The lighthouse has great views of Lake Superior and is close to several sites like Copper Harbor. There are many eagles nesting nearby and yooperlites to be found. It is walking distance to Fitzgerald’s, a surprisingly good local restaurant. We highly recommend visiting the Eagle River Lighthouse. "
