Perfect for what we needed and a huge plus was not having to do major cleaning when we left. Met nice people next door.
Would highly recommend...goid price too!
My son and I stayed here for a snowmobile trip. The facility provided excellent access to the trail system - rode straight off the property. Ample parking space that made loading and unloading easy. The cottage was neat, clean and well appointed. The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely return for future trips to ride the Keweenaw’s outstanding trail system.
Basic and clean accommodation. It’s a free standing unit with good parking. The unit has two small bedrooms. The rooms have no closets or luggage racks. The units appear to be new but the flooring is showing signs of wear. The positives outweigh the negatives.
The location of this property is perfect for easy access to the many Keweenaw highlights, and also the historic town of Calumet. The cottages are very well updated and in immaculate condition! We really enjoyed our stay!
The cottage was clean and tidy on arrival, we came up for snowmobiling, plenty of parking for trailers. Trail is right down the road. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Would stay again
Enjoyed our stay, very quaint, meet some other questions who shared interests in the area. Faucet was leaking slightly. Place not big but served the purpose. Thank u
We loved our stay here! We needed a place to stay when bringing our son back to Michigan Tech! It was perfect. Super clean. After a day of exploring waterfalls and getting my son's dorm set up we checked in. We played bags outside (provided) and grilled out. Located right next to a grocery store. We went to Lake Superior/McClain State park to watch the beautiful sunset. We will definitely be back to stay here on our next trip.
Needs some maintenance in 202 (I left a note) screw fell out of chair and when I checked underneath the chair many of the screws were loose/needed tightening. Both kitchen sink faucet and bathroom faucet were difficult to keep from dripping - both need adjustment. Kitchen needs more than 1 dish towel. New dishes are a GREAT improvement over the old plastic ones - they were great!
Nice little cottage. I would definitely recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Overpriced
Cute condo in an area with limited hotel space, but most hotels in our UP trip were in the $160-$170 range. While this was a condo, it was very small (pictures were optimistic). Could use real towels and pillows on couch for that price certainly. Misleading cost with a last minute "vrbo fee" that did not occur with other listings and was not disclosed up front
The cabin was clean, the owner was friendly, and the location is perfect for utilizing the Swedetown nordic ski trails. We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality.
