"The hotel is a lot older than the pictures suggest, but in comparison to other hotels we saw on the street, this was clean, comfortable and secure. It is also just down the road from the belen markets. They are currently doing renovations so it is a bit noisy during the day."

"We had a very enjoyable stay, our guide was excellent, helped by the fact that he grew up locally. We thought that property maintenance had probably lapsed due covid and some cosmetic improvements were due, which we noticed had started. "I am a biologist and I loved the experience at this lodge. The rooms were comfortable with quality sheets and towels changed daily. The food is excellent and prepared from local jungle resources. The guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna of which we saw lots. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off there afterwards.
