"We had a lovely week and were made to feel very welcome by the owner. The house has everything you would expect, as well as a large garden. The area is very scenic and has rolling hills and woodlands with lots of walks. Licques is only a km or so down the road, and has a supermarket and other shops. Calais is only about 20 to 30 minutes away, and Boulogne and St Omer are within easy reach. The house itself is in a small village, and isn't isolated as such, but still very rural and very much...

"Nice atmosphere and friendly welcome. The bar and gardens were very attractive. The room was well equipped, comfortable and clean. We loved the balcony and the location was extremely convenient. Walks from the hotel to the woods, the town and the beach were all pleasant "

"This was a very cheap hotel for one night and so you cannot expect very much but it was not great. Staff were very lovely and helpful, but the room smelled odd, the bathroom did not lock and the bathroom was not clean. I have stayed in similar hotels before which were cheap and cheerful but at least clean and maintained. A shame, just needs a bit of TLC "
