"My family enjoyed our stay at Peaceful on the Albemarle Sound! The home was lovely and stocked with everything we could possibly need. My family was able to easily travel to OBX for a day trip and appreciated returning back to the house for the calm and quiet of our little retreat. The week we stayed was the hottest week for the month of June so my husband didn't fish quite as much as he would've liked to, but that's NC weather for you lol but he did catch a few early in the mornings. We traveled into Hertford and enjoyed visiting local stores and restaurants. We definitely intend to return because Peaceful on the Albemarle Sound is such a lovely home surrounded by water. Thank you!"

"It was close to perfect. Amenities were appropriate and plentiful. We enjoyed the front porch, using the grill, sitting on the back patio, sleeping in the quiet nights, swimming in the pool, using the laundry machines. It was easy to communicate with the owner."

"Had an early 60th BDay celebration with a small group of friends and we were all so very pleased with this property. Several have stayed in other short term rentals and said by far this was the cleanest, most accurately described. It is well equipped for fun with games, books, pool table, paddle boards, kayaks, floats… so many amenities provided that we weren’t even expecting to ensure guests have a great stay. We brought a boat which really added to our ability to add fun water recreation. The views from the porch and several rooms are fantastic!! The host was so easy to work with. After a bad lightening storm took out the internet overnight, she let me know before we even noticed. Really just a top notch experience for our long weekend away. Will be back, for sure!"
