The pool is fantastic-very refreshing and just the right temperature with plenty of relaxing loungers around. "Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

"Really well situated - just on the edge of the Bastide and about 15 minutes walk from the walled town. Lovely home with a small pool and excellent outdoor kitchen. It had all the facilities we needed. Our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"We enjoyed the property’s location — walking distance to the medieval town and very close to the Monoprix grocery store. Very clean and good modern amenities including a great kitchen. Parking at Parking Centre-ville was really good and reasonable / free for most of the weekend for example."

"Great Place to stay and enjoy the windy and quiet Place. The streets to get to the house are narrow if you follow the short route in heaps… but after once all was easier :) "

Maison magnifique , spacieuse , les enfants comme les adultes y trouvent tout ce dont ils ont besoin, les alentours nous offrent de superbes balades , bref un lieu magnifique , dans un cadre idéal . The apartment itself had everything we needed and included a nice private balcony which added to the ambience. We would definately choose to stay again if we are back in Carcassonne.
