It took a trip across town to get a room key from the desk guy of another hotel. Rustic is the vibe they were shooting for, but I would just call the overall condition old and tired. Expedia would not let me post the picture I took of the chair in the room that looked more like a refugee from a landfill that a piece of hotel furniture."

"Parking is fine when the guy in the next room is not bing in the corner of your parking space. The bed was not comfortable so we cut a paid two day stay in half and left after one night. Expedia’s bot chat was very unhelpful in making sure we get credit for the unused night."

"Worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed. Condition of room, flooring, plumbing-all was horrible. Outside of room, cigarette butts littered the window sills and floor. Receptionist may? have spoken some English. Apparently some “short term” residents at the property. I slept in my clothes on top of bed spread as I didn’t trust cleanliness. Cheap but…"

"Great Views and Very Close to Big Bend. No Bathrooms in the cabin it is shard space. My wife walked in on a man going to the bathroom #2 and he had the door wide open and did not bother to close it once my wife walked in. Partly my fault for not reading the reviews and seeing others post about how small it is. The Pictures are very misleading about the actual living space. We made it work though and overall it was ok but i could have stayed at big bend station for the same price and not have a shared bathroom and bigger space to sleep "
