"Absolutely enchanting villa overlooking probably the best ocean view in the world House had everything you need and was quite comfortable and warm. The hostess and hosts were most welcoming they truly made us feel like we were part of their family. "We arrived exhausted from our road trip and were thrilled to see a kitchen well stocked to cook our evening meal. We unloaded our bags and were wisked off by Rene's family to take us to the local market for supplies. We ate our first meal ( and many more to come) on the lovely outdoor veranada. "Big unit and ac worked but that’s about it. Weekly clean and towel change only. Everything including pool shut down from 2-5pm in 45C heat?? Espresso and food overpriced by triple than everywhere else. More of a unit rental and your on your own. You can get a hotel for what I paid with full service in a major tourist area rather than this place. Tired building and far from beach, staff service non existent in any front. Seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help."

"The Villa was clean and spacious and very well equipped for our stay. Communication between me and owner Jo was great. Sam from the management company was very helpful and always contactable throughout our stay if this was needed. Villa is close the beach and the bakery and shop was within walking distance. "Schon im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation mit Fabrizio (Vermieter) unkompliziert, ebenso auch die Übergaben. Angekommen in Badolato ist es zunächst schwierig, einen Parkplatz zu bekommen...mit etwas Mut und Improviationsvermögen geht das aber. Das Häuschen liegt am östlichen Ortsrand und hat einen fantastischen Ausblick. Man sollte aber wissen, dass Badolato in Teilen ein "Geisterdorf" ist, die meisten Häuser um uns herum waren leerstehend und verrammelt. Das haben wir aber nicht als störend...

"L'appartamento era normale, senza pretese, cosa che non avevamo. L'abbiamo trovato scomodo ai servizi se non si ha una macchina a disposizione. Troppa confusione di notte a tutte le ore tanto che non si riusciva a dormire. Niente TV. Moka senza manico. Scomodo per arrivare in spiaggia. Mare pulito solo al mattino. Non è stata una vacanza come ci aspettavamo."

"We booked into Residence Pietre Bianche for 4 nights and so glad we did. Our apartment was on the top floor (2nd floor) and had amazing views over the water especially the magnificent sunsets. We were very comfortable a large comfortable double bed and a single fold out sofa bed. We didn’t bother cooking as we opted for half board at the fabulous onsite Me Restaurant. Food was really good. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "Nigel and Amanda were perfect hosts and Villa Bergamotto is quite something indeed. We didn’t meet them but were greeted by a lovely local English speaking lady. All communication with Amanda was excellent and we cannot complain about anything at all during our one week stay. We would advise anyone to utilise their recommendations - all were amazing (beaches, restaurants etc..) and absolutely made our Calabrese experience so wonderful. The WIFI was superb and we were able to download movies...
