"Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. "Being on the North shore of Lake Balaton is the best location, away from the busier South. View was fantastic and we spent every evening sat there looking out over the lake, one night we even had a pair of hares running around in the field next to the house. It was a heatwave 35 degrees so the Air Con was lovely. Helped to water the plants in the garden as the owner was away - hope they survived. Lovely, unspoilt and restful with visits to the beach, vineyards and towns. Would recommend Sipos...
