The two houses have been lovingly restored in keeping with the period of the property which made for an extravagant setting for us. "We arrived at 9pm via train so was such a welcome sight to see the hotel sign from our train platform ! Directly connected to the station, this hotel is clean and modern. Only a short walk to the old town, I would totally recommend this spot particularly if you are travelling via train (I much prefer a walk to and from town without my luggage!). Staff were lovely as well. "
