"This is an incredibly unique property with some upsides. It is a cool old (1920's) Tudor style house that is well-suited for large groups. While it was fine for a couple of nights, any longer would have made the downsides (deferred maintenance, insufficient silverware, stained carpeting) less tolerable. "Our family from four different states was looking for a place welcoming to adults and children (over 10 years old). This property was perfect for us. The house was clean but also feels lived-in, which helped us be more comfortable using all of the rooms and the spacious kitchen. There were nooks and crannies for privacy. The kids enjoyed the yard, the adults enjoyed walking the grounds. We even had a star gazing night and got to see Comet Lemmon! "

"From the moment you walked in and you saw that fireplace you knew you were at home and were comfortable and then you walk to the other side and the whole house is totally renovated gorgeous. The trees were fall at its best would definitely go backback. The beds were even comfortable. We made some good memories and the towns there I had no idea adorable we went in October so pumpkins were to be found. My grandchildren loved the yard endless running wish we had more time to explore.!"

"This is a small cabin located down a slight hill from the owner's house. They did a wonderful job of clearing out trails behind the property throughout the woods, between cabin and the road. The town of Chappaqua is beautiful and located close by, with any amenities you may need. The cabin is modified from an old stone and log structure and had all the basics you will need for a rustic retreat. Joanne was very friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy seeing guests have a pleasant stay."
