"Enjoyed the stay but there are some issues: Staircase leading to apartment is treacherous including unevenly spaced stair rises. Courtyard by front door does not drain rainwater sufficiently during downpour resulting in one having to cross 2" deep moat to access the apartment. I would expect to stay there again hoping they would address these issues. Excellent location on Black river well lit at night though it would be advantageous to turn off the outside lights at night. "The house has been recently renovated and is roomy and well-appointed. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We decided to add time to our stay, and the owner revised our second reservation to avoid us being charged a cleaning fee again. This was something the owner caught and took care of voluntarily. "This is a darling home and comfortable to stay at. There were 6 of us and we stayed for 14 days. The hosts' has the house set up with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. All we had to do is bring in some groceries and begin our stay. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip. Great people to deal with. "

"Allison’s place is clean, comfortable and well stocked with dishes and towels. The house is older but has been updated. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs in the house and the separate mother-in-law suite is a bedroom within the garage, and it is separated from the main house (but there is a very small toilet and standup shower and small kitchen area). The sliding glass door to the “suite” is a sliding glass patio door that doesn't lock and you have to take outside stairs to get up to the room. The...
