Romantic Hotels in Zimbabwe

"Our stay at Eden Lodge was horrible and the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. There was no power on in hotel as the generator is only turned on at 6.00pm and the staff were using a torch to try and find our booking. We booked and paid 6 weeks before our stay but the reception had no record of our booking and payment when we tried to book in. Our booking details and payment were only confirmed the next morning. "We loved the opportunity to relax in beautiful surroundings. We got to watch elephants drinking in the nearby waterhole in the dark and see the impalas jumping around. We enjoyed splashing about in the pool and listening to the elephants drink as we sat around a camp fire. Unfortunately the lodge needs some refurbishment and the staff weren't as hospitable as we have found in Zimbabwe. Our shower didnt work properly so we had to use another chalets shower.
