"Our stay at Eden Lodge was horrible and the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. There was no power on in hotel as the generator is only turned on at 6.00pm and the staff were using a torch to try and find our booking. We booked and paid 6 weeks before our stay but the reception had no record of our booking and payment when we tried to book in. Our booking details and payment were only confirmed the next morning. "This classic turn of the century hotel is a treat to stay at. It is well located in Victoria Falls for day activities and has a splendid view of the Zambezi River gorge and bridge. The staff are exceedingly friendly and well trained. Our room was very comfortable with a large bedroom and bathroom with both shower and bath. There were a lot of electrical outlets including the North American standard. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality. Table service was top notch....
