Paris City Center3 nights4.0 star property8.4/10 - Very good (725 reviews)"Do not book this hotel. Their air conditioner was broken and they changed my room twice. They told me they would fix it and they never did. For five nights I stayed in a hot room. And now Expedia refuses to compensate me for the inconvenience. Expedia and the hotel said all sales are final. Another lady across from me booked two rooms and she had the same issue. They have had air conditioner issues for the longest and have no immediate plans to fix it. Book at your own risk!"Reviewed November 3, 2026Return • Dublin (DUB) - Paris (CDG)DUB - BVA • Direct BVA - DUB • Direct€669€451found 16 hours agoper traveller - Hotel Faubourg Galant Paris - Handwritten Collection

"Not sure where the photos on GMaps were taken but it doesn’t look like this hotel. We were initially given a room on the ground floor with no aircon. Summer of 2026 - 36 deg. We travel with a dog and a cat! Don’t ask! We queried the aircon and the receptionist move us to the first floor which are the pics I have shared. The aircon unit condensation pump was faulty and as it operates it buzzes like someone pressing a door bell; every 3 minutes, all night. It is referenced in another post on...

"Excellent value for the money"
"Excellent place to stay near the motorway. Quite a climb up to the old town but will worth it. Breakfast had limited choice but all very good."
"We had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful and changed our room when they could for the last night. We stayed in room 8 which is a premium room with a view. Unfortunately it is on the top floor with no air conditioning. Because of the heat wave our room was over 30c most of the time, even the floor boards were hot. The room was spacious and well furnished although too many blankets and cushions for the summer. Excellent breakfast with a choice of cooked food which was appreciated....
