As I walked though the front door, there was an instant like. The place was warm, cozy and inviting. The staff were, without fail, delightful, smiling and eager to help. The Breakfast room is a haven of peace, filled with plants and huge windows. Breakfast is OK. The restaurant is in a league of it's own with huge paintings, a fireplace, excellent food and great service. I had a small family dinner and ntried to explain why I love that place but couldn't find the right word. They helped and called it homely, but in na good sense. Huis Vermeer is a feast for all the senses, visually it is stunning, the food is great and why can't all hotels be like that.

reat hotel in the center of Deventer!
Perfect location, a beautiful building, and excellent service. I travel to Deventer fairly often and this is my favorite hotel there. It’s central location makes it an ideal spot for getting around the city. Nice, clean rooms and the breakfast is quite good. Friendly and efficient service.

Central, superb staff, lovely breakfast
We had a nice time here for two nights whilst attending the Womens Euros. A good breakfast set us up for a days sightseeing, easily walkable and then plenty of restaurants, bars (and an ice cream parlour) nearby. We didn't have problems - except no corkscrew in the room, and that was sorted quickly - and the staff couldn't have been friendlier.

Church next door rings bells every hour...all night long. Otherwise this Hotel is fantastic. Restaurant was superb.

Wobderful place to stay
Great place for a short stay, take the little ferry across the Issl river and walk in the park, have lunch in the hotel there. Good shopping and you can get to Germany easily by train or car. Train from Amsterdam airport is direct and one hour twenty minutes. Deventer is beautiful medieval town but not touristy so a pleasure to look around. There is a church opposite the hotel which chimes all night on the half hour and hour, so ask for a room at the back of the hotel if you are a light sleeper, otherwise take earplugs, the hotel provide them but the silicone ones are better.

Fantastisch hotel met uitstekende service. Vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk ontbijtje met cava. In dit hotel doen ze er alles aan om je in de watten te leggen. Echt een aanrader.

Ein wirklich schönes, schnuckeliges Hotel. Nur sollte man VORHER erfahren, wenn eine Hochzeit alles belegt, so dass mandie Gemeinschaftsträume, Restaurant etc. nicht nutrzen darf. Wenn es nur ums Schlafen ginge, könnte man ja ein x-beliebiges Hotel mit guten Matratzen buche ...

Prachtig hotel en zeer vriendelijk personeel! Helaas geen airco op de kamer maar we hebben waaiers als alternatief gekregen . Hotel ligt in het centrum en heeft een privé parkeer garage waar je tegen vergoeding kan parkeren .

Mooie kamers in oud herenhuis. Erg sfeervol en toch comfortabel en luxe ingericht. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitgebreid heerlijk ontbijt en een fantastische keuken voor als je blijft dineren. Wel op tijd reserveren, want het zit altijd vol.

Prima hotel. Mooie is dat ze je herkennen als je terugkomt. Goede locatie in het midden van de stad. Parkeren iets omslagtiger maar is geregeld. Goed eten en goede wijn. Prima tot uitstekende bediening met goed advies.

Erg genoten in Deventer
Zeer smaakvol ingericht en waanzinnig service gerichte medewerkers. Het restaurant dat bij het hotel hoort heeft een uitstekende prijs-prestatieverhouding. Enige echte minpunt was het ontbreken van airco tijdens een hete nacht maar aan de andere kant is het zonde om in een dergelijk monumentaal pand een installatie in te bouwen.

Mooi eerste klasse hotel. Alleen was het met die hittegolf een tegenvaller dat er geen airco op de kamer was. De kamer was mooi. Deventer was bijzonder.

Een prima hotel op een zeer strategische plek in het centrum van Deventer.Slecht toegankelijk voor mensen die wat minder goed ter been zijn.Uitstekende keuken en bediening. Goede prijs /kwaliteit verhouding.In de binnenstad dus moeilijk per auto bereikbaar , ook lang parkeren is moeilijk of duur.

Zu teuer und sehr hellhörig!
Hellhörigstes Zimmer wo ich jemals übernachtet habe. Jedes Wort vom Rezeptionist gehört, der auch noch Nachts um 2 Uhr Stühle und Tische rückte! Bekam alles mit. Taxi kam am nächsten Tag zu spät trotz Bestellung am Vortag. Frühstück super, aber es hat alles ziemlich lange gedauert bis es serviert wurde, da kein Buffet.
