We like to shop locally then mainly do our own cooking so the really well-equipped kitchen set up was ideal for us. (Maybe some instructions on the use of the microwave + a Microwave safe dish or two for reheating, cooking veggies etc. We bought a DECOR one, suited us just fine.) Had everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay and a pleasant stroll to UTAS Stadium was just what we wanted. Avoid booking a hotel room and check this place out. The owner even had the electric blankets going so our beds were toasty warm!"

"Modern and Convenient at Newstead is exactly that! A great base to explore Launceston and surrounding areas. The house is well stocked, with great facilities for cooking and washing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and supermarkets are only a short drive away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!"

"Ideal property for a family or a couple stay in Launceston The property has been renovated to a high standard yet keeping the terrace house feel As it only has one bathroom with separate WC located on the first floor its not ideal for several couples to stay The dining room & kitchen are yet to be renovated but we both had a good stay"

"Little Gem is just fantastic, modern accommodation. Beautifully designed, decorated and fitted out little house. Everything was just superb with a lovely living area, a great, really well equipped kitchen which we used to cook two delicious meals prepared from ingredients bought at the Launceston Saturday Farmer's Market, a really beautiful bathroom and a truly comfortable big bed and lots of storage areas. Little Gem did have everything to meet our needs for a 5 day stay and just a short drive...

"The home was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. We walked into town on several days - no need to find somewhere to park the car - and sampled some of the excellent food offerings. (Tatler Lane for breakfast was a hit. The outdoor areas were large and provided plenty of space to relax. Parking the car was a little challenging at first due to the steepness of the drive, however we soon got the hang of it. The owner was quick to respond to queries and provided helpful information."

"What a lovely old house we had such a lovely relaxing chilled weekend. So lovely and clean cosy and warm and comfy beds. Only 20 mins. from Launceston and the town of Exeter only Minutes away from the house for supplies. Lovely and quiet. There were only 3 of us but plenty of room for at least 8 adults.
