"I feel the hotel is overpriced for the level of service you receive. We stayed in a room that had club access. In the night there were young children running around I feel young toddler children shouldn’t be allowed in the club room. We also went to the club room for breakfast and all tables that weren’t already taken had dirty plates on them. I had to go ask a staff member if they’re able to clean the table so we could sit down. I feel they were very short staffed. The rooms were very clean and lovely though. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again. Or recommend for over $400 per night! I expected better service."

"Check in and out was frustrating (matched out first stay here) but don't let it deter you from staying. Large living area in apartment was ideal for family. Pool, gym and garden area great. Enjoyed light meal at restaurant. Proximity to airport great. Easy to find parking in street Check in: Had booked and paid for a room for 5 guests. Bedding only provided for 4 people. Refused to provide trundle unless I made additional payment but would provide "free" sheets for 5th guest to sleep on lounge. They slept in lounge as I was unwilling to pay more. Check out: attempted to charge me full amount without applying discounts for not having room serviced and the $20 credit per night deal I had booked. After much hassle it was applied. Allow plenty of time for checking out."

"I knew things were wrong when I saw that the check-in counter and the drinks bar were the same structure. And it got worse. In one single, dingy room, the check-in staff double up as bar tender, wait-staff, and cleaners as well. If you want to order a meal or a drink, you cannot get anyone's attention because they are checking customers in. You can only resort to using a QR code for your order, and then good luck! The chances of anyone noticing your order are almost zero, because they are, well, checking in guests. I got a pizza that was so overcooked the toppings formed a large biscuit; my pre-meal drink came with my meal, while my meal drink came after I had finished eating, but the latter two only came at all after I had walked up to the check-in desk and forced someone to actually look at the order screen. As a business model, it is very, very impersonal, and very, very ineffective, because checking-in always takes priority over the other needs. Holiday Inn have designed a bonkers process so that they can lower their costs at the expense of their customers' comfort. And two more things just to make the weary traveler even more stressed: the bathroom wall is decorated with an airport Departures Board, the last thing you want to be thinking about after a long journey, and finally: there is a night light in the bathroom that you cannot switch off that shines brightly into the bedroom, perfectly designed to prevent you from going to sleep."
