Quirky historic apartment in Dijon
Pros:Located 5-10minute walk to the centre of town. Lovely historic building. Beds were very comfortable and lovely linen. Apartment was very clean.Cons:Limited contact from rental agency. Texted and emailed on the day prior and day of check in with no response. Would recommend calling. Easy check in once phone call made to the agency.Power points in main bedroom downstairs (in the cellar) were not functional - no bedside lights or plug in power. We found the switchboard and reset the switch only to have it trip the whole apartment. Television did not receive any signal despite persistence.There was an exhaustive printed inventory that did not match what was in the apartment - no wine corkscrew, no sink plug, fewer knives, forks and spoons. Instructions in the kitchen - at checkout - if dishes are not washed and placed in cupboard that there would be an extra change (washed in the dishwasher was not accepted)Glass and bins must be disposed of - or and extra charge. The downstairs bedroom is quite dark - not really an issue for us.
