It was a little out of the village than I realised when first booked but was okay except the road noise from cars as road at front is quite busy thankfully at night much better. "This is a lovely property on the edge of the Broads. It was very clean and comfortable, and well equipped, and the host was very helpful. There is easy access to Norwich and the coast, and some lovely walks into the Broads from the doorstep. There isn't a shop in the village, but Acle is less than 10 minutes drive and has a small supermarket, pubs and takeaways. The big supermarkets in Great Yarmouth are only 15 minutes away."

Spotlessly clean, and a lovely welcome from the owner which included a vase of flowers, some cookies, and a personal message in scrabble letters on the fridge! Everything you need is provided for. "The hosts were very helpful. I've never stayed anywhere with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and a disposable razor in the bathroom. The location was a 10 minute walk out of town, but there was a chippy nearby. Rather than eat my takeaway in my room I was invited to use the dining area and supplied with cutlery. The breakfast was good as well."

Book a cab in advance, as many cab “companies” are just a single driver and waits can be long when it’s busy. Host offers a variety of cereal in the morning. Let down by the bathroom - a poor design - the floor flooded each time we used the shower, no matter how careful we were. ( Nothing the owners could do about this, but unfortunately we were woken at 5.30am each morning by the early risers with heavy feet in the room above ours. "Although it was a good stay and in an excellent location, the room we stayed in was very dusty and needed a good clean. Bathroom blind was very dusty, exposed wires from a towel rail. Bedroom needed dusting and windows that opened needed cleaning. Confusion over the bill when we left."
