"Our room was clean and well appointed. This is a historic hotel. You’ll hear the neighbours. The room is small in contrast to a modern hotel. The bed is comfortable and the shower was hot. Those to me are markers of a great room. We enjoyed our stay and our experience at The Fort Garry Hotel."

"This is my favourite hotel in Winnipeg I stay here every time I visit my daughter I have never had a problem before till this time I had to go to dollar store and buy cleaning supplies the floors were so bad i swept under beds I found so much dust peach pits garbage popcorn the toilet seat was so gross the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall but the floors and under the bed was the worst as I travelled with my dog this time and she could have got sick from all the garbage under the bed please fix this I will be back next year and love to see this hotel again"

"Nice building, great location. Rooms were large and clean. Our only issue was that the reception staff in both the hotel and the restaurant were unwelcoming. Grumpy dispositions, no smiles.The cleaning staff were more friendly."

"The location was excellent. The hotel is only a short distance from the airport’s front doors. There was a nice view of an active runway! The room was quiet and very clean. The bathtub/shower with old tiles was dated, but functional. My room was too cool so I called the front desk and a person arrived immediately to adjust the thermostat to blow warm air and it was more comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Room is very cleaned. Location is good. Great security staff. Saw them avoiding unnecessary people entering the hotel rooms with 24/7 monitoring the hotel. The only draw back was they were busy on the day of check in and when I got there and hour early and was told that I can't check in early and my room will be ready at 4pm. When I returned at 4 but the room was not ready and had to wait another 20 minutes."
