"A special thank you to the lovely receptionist who greeted us with a cheerful smile every time we came and went. This made us feel very welcome during our stay. We appreciated receiving a text message to let us know our room was ready and even more impressive was her quick response when I accidentally left some items behind in the room. She phoned me immediately to let me know, which I was so grateful for. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable! "

"The staff were excellent I went down to reception and said the heating wasn’t working and the phone wasn’t working and by the time I went back to the room about ten minutes they were leaving the room and it was all fixed they were very polite and didn’t hesitate to help thank you so much "

"Great rustic accommodation with a real feeling of homeliness. The fire and good supply of wood were appreciated during the southerly weather blast. Section is quite steep with loads of vegetation so if you have smaller children who love exploring it would be a good idea to keep an eye on them. "
