It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. "Very nice spot to set up your base while exploring north wales. As a word of caution: its very convenient location to the bus and train service is a huge plus, but the actual train and bus service in this region is quite unreliable. I was able to make due but there were a few times I had to wait upwards of 2-3 hours for trains to return back to betwy y coed after a long hike so you may want to consider renting a car if you're exploring many parts of the region, but it is still very accessible via public transit if that is your only option. The hotels food was actually very good and balanced and I always looked forward to eating there for a reasonable price after a long day"
