"The staff went out of their way to be helpful! It was a school holiday, so Taxi’s were hard to get. We walked to the hotel from the Train Station across the river. When we discovered that the hotel restaurant was booked & we would have to walk to another one, the front desk clerk actually got his car & drove us there! We very much appreciated this. This hotel is within close walking distance of 2 castles & a beautiful shopping area. The food was excellent, the hotel very comfortable & the staff were more than welcoming."

"This was a great stay! It was luxurious to have so much space! Conveniently located to all the attractions in Amboise, and a winery a literal stone’s throw away. One downside was no internet or wifi, and within the house the signal was poor- had to pop outside a few times when internet was needed. We would definitely stay again! "

"One of a kind experience. This was a peaceful and calm place to return to at the end of the day. We enjoyed petting the dog and walking around the Chateau grounds. Being into history, the mural inside lodge and the surrounding buildings was awesome to see. The sparkling wine made on site tasted great, too. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The Hosts were extremely courtesy and welcoming! They gave us a nice tour of the place when we arrived. Our younger kids enjoyed the trampoline that was available as well. The only thing we didn't realize was that the linens were an extra charge as the listing said they were provided. Other than the communication was excellent! We would happily stay there again if in the area. Thanks for allowing us to make memories at your Gite!"
