"This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. He obviously cares deeply about the place and makes sure you have everything you need. When he is not there Angel was terrific. She also cared about everything that happens at the hotel. I would give this place the highest rating on any scale. The only place to stay in Amboise. "

"Well located in Amboise. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the Loire. We had a studio so didn’t take the breakfast option. Parking is paid per day. On arrival it took us a little time to locate the road - it’s quite a narrow 1 way street, though that’s not unusual in Amboise! So best to check your route before arrival. We always found a parking space when arriving but it was not peak season - I suspect it might be trickier in high season when the place is full. Plenty of Restaraunts within easy walking. The studio apartment has a basic kitchen - microwave, fridge, kettle and sink - so adequate for organising breakfast. So in summary, good location, adequate parking (though might be tricky in peak season) and the studio apartments are comfortable if somewhat basic."

"This house was perfect for our stay in Amboise, we used it as a base to visit the castles of Chambord, Chenonceaux, Blois, and of course Amboise. The apartment was a 10 minute drive to downtown (no sidewalk to walk there). The 3 bedrooms were comfortable and clean. One bedroom with a queen bed had a 1/2 bath attached (stand-up shower and no toilet). The other bedrooms had either a queen bed or the bunk-beds.In the hallway there is a toilet room, and another 1/2 bath with a stand-up shower and double sinks as well as the washing machine (no dryer - as is common in France).The kitchen had plenty of things to cook with and dishes to use as well as the full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster - most things you would find in a kitchen.The parking on spot was easy, accessible, and directly in front of the house. The house is not a stand-alone house; It is more like a townhome, connected to others on either side.The house was a little outdated, but not horrible - it was fine for our group of 2 adults and 4 children (17, 18, 18, 18). The large living room and kitchen gave us plenty of room to relax.The only concern I would have is that the listing said that there were no hidden fees associated with the listing, but when we got closer to the date of the visit (after we could no longer cancel), we were told that we would be charged extra for them to provide linens and towels. The price was reasonable, but the fact we had to pay more after the fact was bothersome."
