"This is the loveliest small beautiful hotel run by a delightful hotelier. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is a good size and open at sensible times. The village itself is sweet with a lovely little beautiful shop, small market, boulangwris and other shops. There is one very nice restaurant for dinner but for other options you need to go further afield. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for any visit to the Loire."

"My family of six recently had the opportunity to stay and this fine villa in Vouvray. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic stay and I would not hesitate to book this again. Some positives included:- Very large villa with plenty of beds and space -- We were a smaller group than this property can accommodate and had several unused beds- Great kitchen with just about all cookware and dinnerware you could possibly need, plus a modest supply of staples (spices, salt, etc)- Air Conditioning! Each room had a small air conditioner that was customizable by remote control- Blackout drapes operated by remote switch. We did not really realize this until Day 2 but every window has remotely operated (wall switch) blackout drapes that can be raised or lowered. With July's long days this was fantastic for sleeping in or going to sleep early- Pool, Hot Tub and outside patio area were incredibly enjoyable and we utilized them extensively-location of this villa w/in Vouvray was great -- up on the hillside very close to acres of grape vines. It was nice to go exploring. Just down the hill was a sign for a small winery but we did not have the time to call the number for an appointment. - The location of Vouvray itself is a big bonus as it was easy access to Tours, Chambord, Amboise. Had an opportunity to meet the owner of the property on Day 2 (he was checking the pool for impacts from a recent storm) and he was incredibly nice and conscientious. We had a great conversation!"

"The house is an easy 7 minute walk into the village center. Grocery store is a 5 minute walk. The pellet stove was very nice to have in the evening when the temperature dropped in the 40s. There is a very nice laundry room with washer and dryer, including a large drying rack. We cook dinner most evenings, so the large kitchen was a pleasure. Note that the knives are very dull. We had to purchase a knife to cut vegetables! "

"Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful. We were also provided with much helpful information about a party which was going on in the courtyard that evening and places where we could go to eat in the evening. A wonderful stay and we hope to return one day for longer! "
