"A wonderful find. More of a bed and breakfast on a working farm. Room is not very big but it does have a private bathroom. The hosts offer a lovely continental breakfast included, as well as parking. It is very quiet and restful. Chickens often cross your path. There is also a working mill which generates power. The host is very nice. There is a an excellent restaurant a 5 minute drive away called Chenin, suggested by the host. Not to be missed."

"This is a 4-5 unit B&B just north of Tours, convenient for visiting several of the major chateaus in the Loire valley...we visited Ambois, Blois and Chambord. The property dates from the Ninth Century and sits next to a "rock" that has passage ways inside leading to a swimming pool area 25 steps up with 10 mile views of the surrounding area. Four of the units are in a wonderfully repurposed stable, with squeaky floors, overhead pegged beams, modern beds and en-suite bathrooms, and tons of character. The hosts do not offer dinner, but were happy to point us to a great place about 10 minutes walk with great pizza and other Italian dishes."

"This is, by far, the nicest most unique home we have EVER stayed in. The photos were accurate as was the property description. The home looks like it's been recently renovated with nice appliances and furniture. The location was in walking distance to town. The only negative was a marathon taking place our first day there and the city seemed to block every street. We also had a lot of difficulty trying to figure out how to use the washer and dryer. The washer was set to a 30- minute wash and it took 2 hours and didn't wring the clothing much. The dryer kept shutting off every 3-5 minutes and not drying the clothing. We ended up air drying. Instructions in English would be wonderful, otherwise the home was fantastic!"

Staff was attentive and helpful. Dined at the restaurant one evening— a very good price for quality for the prefix meal. Location was perfect for day trips to various Chateaus."

"Belle maison aménagée avec beaucoup de charme et de goût. Très propre et très bien équipée en vaisselle et apparareils ménager, les propriétaires ont pensé à tout! Café, thé, petits pots de confiture, sucre, sel et poivre, huile et vinaigre, éponges, torchons à disposition en quantité suffisante pour bien démarrer. De même pour les serviettes de bain, les draps, les couvertures et les coussins, tout neuf, fraîchement lavé et largement compté. Très attrayant pour les arachnophobes, la plupart des fenêtres sont équipées de moustiquaires. L'endroit est très calme sans être isolé et se prête à de belles promenades aux alentours, dans les vignes et jusqu'à la Loire. À proximité d'Amboise et à peu près au milieu de tous les châteaux, il est le point de départ idéal pour en visiter un maximum. L'échange avant et durant le séjour était sans problème, Alexandre et James répondent immédiatement. Merci encore à la propriétaire pour les courgettes et le raisin du jardin et aussi pour les chaiselongues très confortables!Nous avons passé 3 belles semaines chez vous et recommandons absolument."

"The house was lovely. There are 6 bedrooms, three showers/bath tubs, but only two toilets, which was fine for our party of four. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit that keep those tools cool. The property managers are very helpful and accessible."
