"The hotel is gorgeous. Very elegant. Felt like living in a palace. The staff were satisfactory but not very personable. It felt like the staff were aware of the luxurious nature of the hotel and acted removed. Maybe there is no way around it. We felt more personally taken care of in smaller boutique hotels. The breakfast was nice and rich. The communal areas of the hotel were very pretty and elegant. There is definitely a trade off in this hotel between the luxury and person-ability of the experience."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hotel Majestic! After seeing the Gentlemen on Netflix I had to see it for myself. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were delightful. "Loved this hotel in the picturesque village of Saas-Fee! Loved the bath robes, breakfast, and clean, airy space. I greatly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately, I had intended to book a hotel in Zermatt and didn't know that lots of hotels in Switzerland are called Schweizerhof--that's my fault not theirs, but just be aware. It's quite far from Zermatt but the village itself is worth exploring."
