Wonderful location and property

We stayed for 5 nights to recuperate on our European tour. Amazing traditional property with lots of space for 5 children, and outside space for dining with use of the BBQ. We loved the outside space and pool to cool off - so much space. Relaxing, calm and tranquil. Fabien was on site if we needed anything. It felt very much like home for us with the animals and greeted by the dog when we came home each day.

Peaceful stay

We all enjoyed our stay at the Les Tramois. The cottage is really charming and is set in a beautiful location. There are horses, a donkey, peacocks, fish, hens… Our children loved interacting with the animals, jumping into a huge paddling pool as well as doing archery and bouncing on a trampoline. Lots to do for the young! There is a nice woody walk and a well equipped charcoal bbq. Fabien is a wonderful unobtrusive but very helpful host. Thank you for having us!

Het is een fijn groot huis op een rustige, relaxte plek. Voorzieningen zijn prima. Er is zelfs een blender in de keuken. We hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van de pingpongtafel bij het huis die voor ons privé was. De omgeving is mooi met vele zonnebloemvelden en met vele kastelen om te bezoeken.

Charmant huis op een heerlijke locatie. Het huis staat op een groot perceel waar ook andere huurders en eigenaren aanwezig zijn. Perceel is alleen zo groot dat je hier niets van merkt in het geval je die erg zou vinden. De kids vonden de afwisseling leuk tussen zwemmen, trampoline en diverse buitenspellen (w.o. handboogschieten). Donzy zelf kent een paar kleinere bezienswaardigheden, heeft een grote supermarkt en een paar kleinere winkels. Verder is het redelijk uitgestorven. Functioneel prima. In de nabije omgeving genoeg bezienswaardigheden te zien. Ook een dagje Auxerre was mooi. Avonds een wedstrijd van de plaatselijke voetbalclub nog bezocht. Schitterende natuur in de omgeving. We verbleven er een week en dat was voor ons voldoende. We hebben er echt van genoten en zijn heerlijk tot rust gekomen. Dank voor het fijne ontvangst.

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine à Donzy dans ce gîte. Il est situé à l’écart du village, dans une ancienne ferme. Une roulotte, une yourte et deux cabanes dans les bois sont également sur la propriété.

Location très sympathique, dans un cadre magnifique et très calme. La maison est bien équipée et peut accueillir deux familles sans problème. Le parc est très grand, arboré, avec piscine et les enfants comme les adultes pourront apprécier la compagnie des animaux (paons, poules, coq, chevaux, âne, carpes koï...) Très grand moment de détente après le confinement

Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et nous avons été acceuillis par un propriétaire très sympa et avenant. Le gîte est super pour passer un moment au calme. Nous avons passé un super WE prolongé de la Pentecôte avec nos enfants que nous n'avions pas vu depuis avant le confinement. Le paon Peter avec sa roue magnifique et sa femme Clochette étaient bien présents et venaient nous voir assez souvent au moment des repas. WE que nous referons certainement. A bientôt et merci.

If your looking for tranquility to unwind in then look no further, I consider this place to be one of the true gems of Burgundy, the property is clean tidy and periodic it's been lovingly restored by the wonderful Fabien his lovely daughter Iris and his charming father Dominique who tend to the absinthe ground, if it's natural beauty your after this is the place nature send to ascend upon the place, your really tucked away in a paradise but not a million miles away from things, just a short 5 minute drive will see you in the quaint village of Donzy where you'll find a supermarket a fuel station a cafe and it's old historic buildings, the place is well centered to explore the Burgundy countryside and ask the beautiful towns and villages around it, I wish I was there right now and I'm already planning a return trip, it's a must see and if you go there one time I assure you that you'll want to return, Fabien Iris and Dominique I really can't thank you all enough for an amazing experience, take care and I'll see you all later this year, kind regards Brandon
