10/10 Excellent

"Good parking under hotel, with lift to front desk and rooms. Great location, 5 minute walk over bridge into downtown and 10 minute walk to King John’s castle. BEST meal for supper EVER, food is great! Nice bar and restaurant area to eat in, or just relax. Would stay here again!"

Horse and Jockey Hotel

"The Horse and Jockey was a great place to spend a few nights and have day trips around Ireland. It was really hot when we were there and they brought a fan to our room, that was great. The shampoo and body wash smell amazing! The breakfast was great and the servers were so nice each morning. I would definitely stay there again."

"truly amazing property. quiet, beautiful country but also only a short drive to several towns. the home has everything you need and more. we especially liked that the location allows you to drive to so many different towns and historic sites within an hour or so. even if you wanted to go to big city dublin its an easy train or a two hour drive - which we did as a day trip. tom and tina are lovely hosts and definitely go above to ensure you are well taken care of and have all the ireland travel insights you need. have tom tell you the bird and the cow joke we look forward to coming back next year!"

The Savoy Hotel

"For a 5-Star hotel the experience was disapointing. Our room was supposed to have a Shower/Bathtub combination, but at check in, we were put in a room without a bath. When we went down to front desk and informed the staff that we had booked a room with both, they moved us to a different room with a tub and shower. That was good but added unnecessary time to the check in. There was only 1 bath mat in the room, despite the shower and bath being on oposite sides of the bathroom. There was old chewing gum under one of the bedside tables that fell down on my slippers in the morning, and the bathtub was chipped and had limescale on the tap. The hotel was OK, but not the 5star experience I expected."
