Castle Oaks House Hotel

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (242)
"Disappointing Overall. ●What I liked was: the free parking; breakfast was good on our first day but on our second day wasn't that good; our dinner in the restaurant/bar was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. ●What I didn't like was: the carpets on the corridors and in the bedroom were old and you can see stains in some places (needs new carpets); one of the lights in our bathroom was not working; uncomfortable spring mattress; the bathroom door was making a loud noise when you...

Explore Ireland from the most charming lodge in the Golden Vale

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"We were looking for bases to explore the various areas of Ireland and chose this one for the Limerick portion of our trip. It's in a lovely rural location and, unlike many Irish dwellings, is very energy efficient and comfortable. Just a great place to stay if you want a quiet place surrounded by lovely countryside. One caveat: If you're from out of the country and have spotty cell service, make sure you save your Google map trips so you can find this place in the dark! We both lost service at...

Irish Thatched cottage. Escape to a piece of living history on a country farm

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"The stay was great! Sonia has done a fantastic job restoring the cottage and making it into a comfortable home. Both our girls loved the loft bedroom. The setting was great providing both peace and quiet and easy access to Limerick. Sonia was also readily reachable throughout the stay ensuring everything went well. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay."

Peaceful Cottage in the Clare countryside, amazing views and close to the water

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"This is a great house. Even though our stay was very quick, we enjoyed it. The house was clean and big. The living room was spacious with a nice smart TV. The check in process was very easy. The house is a little off the beaten path and has nice views, but makes it kind of far from other things. It was a great value for the money."

"It was fine. Beds were nice, and the decor was pleasant. WiFi didn’t work, and there is construction going on in the attached house. The email communication was unmonitored. Not the same value as other similar places where we’ve stayed. "
