"The staff was friendly and the location was convenient for U of A graduation event, which was the main reason we booked the property. However, we were surprised to discover that the property was an older motel that had been renovated rather than a traditional hotel. Had this been clearer in the listing and reviews, we likely would have chosen a different place to stay. The property itself is older, the rooms are fairly small, and overall cleanliness and comfort did not fully meet our expectations. There is also no elevator and the AC unit was very loud and blew directly onto one side of the bed. Overall, the experience was not quite what we expected based on the photos and reviews online."
