"Staff was helpful room was clean did not disclose the hundred dollar security deposit until I checked in. Very attentive to rude guest that caused a problem late at night. Breakfast was fantastic. Very close to a lot of the attractions. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely stay at the Handlery. Our kids loved playing in the pool while a musician played electric guitar. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, if a teeny bit outdated in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work and there wasn’t a separate fan in the bathroom, so it did get a little steamy. Beyond that, we didn’t need anything from front desk or housekeeping, and we were impressed at how quiet the property was. We were closer to the parking lot and the freeway, but we didn’t hear anything. The parking lot was clean and well lit, with plenty of space close to our room. I would definitely stay at this property again. It was in a great location and easy to get to everything."

"The hotel had peeling paint, tiny elevators that creaked and reeked of smoke, and a sink not attached to the bathroom, and there was no light actually in the bathroom - which we just felt was strange. All 3 times we went to the valet stand, no one was there, despite a call down beforehand. The room was small but nice, clean and had a decent sized shower. The staff was kind, and the hotel is in a nice quiet and walkable location."
